Three Great Scares on LabX this Halloween

Over the years Halloween has become the perfect excuse to try to terrify myself.  Normally, I would accomplish this by watching the Exorcist, Amityville, Poltergeist or something equally unnerving.  Last year I ended up staying at a haunted B&B, which, come to think of it, was rather eerie.

These experiences, however, only served to whet my appetite.  This year I wanted to do something great and totally different - something that would chill me right to the bone.  So I went deep into LabX's categories and had three encounters that left me white as a ghost.

Scary Great Deal - Hosokawa Micron Air Jet Sieve

My first encounter made the hair stand on the back of my neck.  Could I believe what materialized like a phantom before my eyes?  If you purchase a Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems Air Jet Sieve, you receive a free 4 gallon HEPA filter Vacuum.  That's unbelievable.  A free $800 gift.  The sight was so astonishing that I had to click back to the familiar LabX home page with my heart racing and compose myself.  Phew.

Scary Great Find - FMC Lab Steritort

Having gathered my courage again, I renewed my search for more blood chilling phenomena.  The next encounter was with the likes of something so scary rare, like a ghoul or a goblin spotting.  Yes, residing on LabX is a steritort, you heard me, a steritort.  This used FMC Model 600 Lab Steritort is very real, in excellent condition, with a PSI of 33 lbs and Temperature of 450 degrees.  When I discovered this machine, my whole body trembled and my teeth began chattering uncontrollably.  Luckily for me, the phone rang and I was able to master my fear.

Scary Great Technology - New DPR Lab Series Table Top Kettles

After settling myself down, I refused to be discouraged from my task.  There was still something out there that howled "scary" like the werewolf.  Armed with the confidence of having survived my first two encounters, I began to dig.  I admit, it was like each page deeper was a spadeful of dirt closer to digging my own grave.  Then the dreaded moment happened.  Like the opening of a casket, the DPR FM14 Lab Series Table Top Kettle slowly revealed itself to me with its cold, stainless steel countenance.

This product is so scary great that my blood drained instantly.  Ergonomic, reliable, and affordable, this kettle has some amazing features, such as product and jacket temperature thermostats and a timer; a single motion scraped surface agitation that is configured to allow a secondary mixer to be attached; and the ability to cool itself. That's almost supernatural, isn't it?

The cumulative effect of three such scares was all I needed.  That was it for me.  I'll give candy out to the kids this year and perhaps observe Linus' quest to find the Great Pumpkin, but it will certainly be a long time before I indulge my need to be frightened again. I'm watching some cartoons.
