Small, Low-Cost Datalogger Makes Measuring One or Two Sensors Easy
 
I've grown fond of my one cup coffee maker.  It's fast, convenient, and it's allowed me to get a great deal more mileage out of my standard one pot machine.  I like the right sized product for my application, and I appreciate the way my one cupper has helped simplify my mornings.

That's why I'm so impressed with the new Campbell Scientific CR200X dataloggers. Its input channel configuration and small size make it ideal for measuring one or two sensors.  Not only is the CR200X Campbell Scientific's least expensive datalogger, but paired with an ENC200 enclosure and the 16869 battery, it still is only 6" x 7" in size. 

The CR200X is the base model in the CR200 datalogger series. Three related models, the CR206X, CR211X, and CR216X, carry onboard, spread-spectrum radios, and the CR295X is specially equipped for use with the TX312 GOES transmitter.

The new dataloggers feature expanded memory for the program and operating system (OS). The expanded memory allows:

  • Up to 128 public variables instead of 48
  • Up to eight tables instead of four
  • Compiled CRBasic programs that are two times larger
