BrandTech Scientific Transferpette® electronic Single Channel

The BRAND Transferpette® electronic is an ergonomic, intuitive electronic pipette for use in most laboratory applications. It is available in five volume ranges for reliable dispensing of volumes from 0.5µL to 5mL. Multichannel versions of the Transferpette electronic pipettes are also available.  
  
The soft-touch pipetting key, adjustable finger-rest, light weight and innovative tip cone minimize static strain and operational forces, reducing the risk of repetitive stress injuries (RSI). This is the first electronic pipette to be awarded the “Ergonomics Approved” and “User-Friendly” certification from the prestigious TÜV testing service, an OSHA-accredited testing laboratory.

BrandTech Scientific Transferpette®-8/-12 electronic Multichannel

The new BRAND Transferpette®-8/-12 electronic is an ergonomic, intuitive electronic multichannel pipette for use in virtually all multiwell plate applications. It is available in three volume ranges for reliable dispensing of volumes from 0.5µL to 300µL. Single channel versions of the Transferpette-8/-12 electronic pipettes are also available.

Few labs these days could survive without pipettes. Many assays require pipetting, and the increasing size of multiwell plates demands more steps than ever. Likewise, many experiments and processes—both in academia and in industry— must be validated, especially when regulatory oversight could be involved. Consequently, scientists demand increasing capabilities from pipettes.

Pipettes: Making the Most of Maintenance Options

Best practices dictate that pipettes undergo preventive maintenance and calibration at least once per year. Calibration involves dispensing set volumes of a liquid, usually water, into the weighing pan of a calibrated balance. Service personnel correct for temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, and then compare the expected weight to the actual weight.
