Why does the auction closing time change at the end of the Auction?
If any bids are entered during the final two minutes of an auction, the auction will automatically be extended another two-minutes. This overtime extension will continue until a final bid is determined.
During extended auctions, the Next Minimum Bid will be increased from 2% to 5% increments. This means that the value at which you must bid will be greater during the overtime extension. This policy ensures the auction is closed in a timely and efficient fashion.
Any auctions which reach 60-minutes of extending bidding will be terminated at the 60-minute mark. The highest bid at 60-minutes beyond the original auction closing time will win.
LabX will not enter bids for user offline (by phone) under any circumstances.
