What is LabVista Promote?
LabVista Promote gives you the ability to transfer your LabVista items and place them into the LabX Auctions. Once in the LabX Auctions your items will gain immediate exposure on LabX at the top of the specified category page, on the New Listings page, and in the weekly newsletter, LabX News. Transferring your items into the auctions is a great way to make sales and generate top dollar for your equipment.

There is no transfer cost to use this utility. The cost to run the auction is the regular LabX listing fee, but you save time by quickly transferring the item details and any accompanying photos with a click of the button.

What do I need to use LabVista Promote for my items?
The only requirement for LabVista Promote is that your item contains a unique Item ID from your website. This Item ID is generally your own inventory number which is unique to that item.

Why is a unique Item ID required?
The LabVista spider continues to collect your items each week from your website. If you transfer an item to the LabX Auctions, there is a risk that the item will be made available for sale on the LabX site. Having two identical items on LabX confuses buyers and is not permitted when using the LabX Auctions. This is a safeguard to ensure an item is not sold via LabVista while having active bids in the auction.

At any time, you may review the LabVista promoted items by visiting the tab for Promoted Items. These items may be promoted again in LabX, or reverted back to regular LabVista items.
