Akron, Ohio... Union Process recently produced a custom dry grinding Attritor, designed and built to meet the specific needs of one of its customers. Union Process, known globally as a manufacturer of grinding and dispersing equipment as well as related services, manufactures Attritors and small media mills for a broad range of industrial applications.

As a manufacturer of ceramic products, the customer needed to grind ceramic materials, specifically alumina and zirconium, in a metal-free environment. After reviewing and analyzing the customer's specifications and requirements, Union Process recommended a dry grinding SD-100 Attritor to achieve the desired end product.
