They are used in the mixing of color concentrates and toner as well. When high-shear and high-heat are a must, High Intensity Mixers are used. |  | Horizontal Cooling Mixers are used in conjunction with high intensity mixers to cool down the product. A cooling media is circulated through the cooler jacket. As material is thrown against the cooler walls, the product is cooled rapidly and is discharged when desired product temperature is reached. |  | Change Can Mixers are used when thorough cleaning of the mixer is essential to minimize cross-contamination and cleaning time as well as improve productivity. These mixers are designed to homogenize the product and provide localized dispersion without appreciable increase in product temperature. |  | Vertical cooling mixers serve the same purpose as their horizontal counter-parts but their design is similar to that of the high-intensity mixer. A specially designed cooling tool throws material against the jacket of the mixer walls. A cooling cone can be supplied within the mixer bowl to increase the cooling surface area. |  | Medium intensity mixers are used in applications requiring homogenizing with slow heat accumulation. High Speed Choppers facilitate in dispersion and de-agglomeration.
