Union Process S-200 Production Attritor for Conductive Ink Manufacturing.

Union Process, Inc., known globally as a manufacturer of size reduction and dispersing equipment for a broad range of industrial applications, has built an S-200 production Attritor for conductive ink manufacturing.

The S-200 Attritor features a stainless steel grinding tank with an ASME pressure rated stainless steel cooling jacket, which allows for excellent product temperature control. The tungsten carbide sleeved agitator arms provide excellent wear resistance.

To meet the customer's requirement for low noise, an acoustic insulation jacket was added to the tank and a low-noise motor rated for 75 dbA was specified. The S-200 has a sealed cover and a pneumatically operated product discharge valve.

The control station features timer operation, high product temperature safety shut-off, and low-flow/no-flow cooling water safety shut-off.
