Ad Description

Sensocon® Series S3000
Differential Pressure Gauge.

New differential pressure gauge from Sensocon offers improved features, additional accessories, and a lower price compared to other differential pressure gauges. The Series S3000 Differential Pressure Gauge includes a span adjustment for calibration, cast-in pressure fittings, tubing and static pressure sensors standard, all at a lower price.

Sensocon, Inc. is improving the standard for low differential pressure gauges with the new Sensocon® Series S3000.  The Sensocon® Series S3000 is based on the same rugged, reliable design as the Series S2000, but has new features, extra installation accessories, and a lower price.

In the old design, calibration of this type of gauge was limited to minor adjustments of zero.  Over time, if the zero adjustment didn't offer adequate calibration the gauge would need to be completely disassembled to modify the calibration but in most cases resulted in scrapping the gauge or using a gauge that didn't meet the specified accuracy.  The new Sensocon® Series S3000 has solved this problem with a span adjustment screw on the back of the gauge allowing quick and easy calibration adjustment by the user.  This new feature allows the Sensocon® Series S3000 to maintain its specified accuracy for the life of the product.

Currently, this type of gauge is provided with barbed pressure fittings and pipe plugs that require installation in the threaded pressure ports.  In the new Sensocon® Series S3000, integral pressure fittings are cast into the aluminum housing and are ready to accept push on tubing.  For the unused connections, pressure caps are provided that quickly push on to seal the connection.  The integral pressure fittings in the S3000 save time by eliminating the need for installation of additional fittings.

In most applications, complete installation of the gauge requires tubing and static pressure sensors.  These components are typically sold as separate installation kits adding to the overall cost.  The Sensocon® Series S3000 includes 3 feet of tubing and (2) static pressure sensors as standard accessories.  These accessories provide everything needed for a complete installation in applications such as monitoring filter status, duct static, building pressure, and many other low differential pressure applications.

In addition to the new performance and time saving features and additional installation accessories, the Series S3000 is offered at a lower price.
