Centrifuges: Adding Safety and Versatility to High-Speed Separations
When it comes to common technology in a laboratory, centrifuges rise toward the top of the list. If a scientist wants the liquid at the bottom of the tube, but it’s distributed along the sides in droplets, centrifuge it. Need to separate the cells from a suspension? Centrifuge it. This tool also comes into play in a wide range of other workflows, including purifying DNA, RNA, or proteins. Pump Not Responding

Message: We recently restarted our computer and, upon re-opening the control software, we are having issues with updating the settings for our pump. When we try to increase our pump flow from 0.1 mL/min to 0.3 mL/min we receive an error message in response to the update command that says it failed saving the update. We are able to stop the pump and set it to go but cannot increase the pump flow. Any help is greatly appreciated. [Regarding Varian PL-GPC 50 Plus]
