(12699) The TPI Model 82 DDS Test Unit is used for qualification turn-up testing of 4-wire local loop facilities used in DDS (Digital Data System) and Basic Digital Service offerings. Normally used at the Customer Premise the Model 82 automatically configures itself to relfect the serving Central Office Channel Unit (OCU). Network generated Loopback capabilites include CSU and DSU Loopbacks and CSU and DSU Latching Loopbacks. Test capabilites include 511 and 2047 PRBS (Pseudo Random Bit Sequence) and QRS (Quasi Random Signal) in addition to the Pattern Senstive (Stress) sequences. Received Byte Pattern LEDs and Error Readouts per Channel make the Model 82 an easy-to-use Loop Tester. Battery power makes the Model 82 truly portable. The DDS Test Unit has capability of testing both the Primary and Secondary Channels (where applicable) at data rates of 2.4 4.8 9.6 19.2 38.4 56 and 64 Kbps. |
