Sakura Tissue-Tek SCA Coverslipper model 4764 without Fume Controller. This instrument automates the manual task of permanently mounting a histology or cytology stained slide. Coverslips up to twenty slides per minute with a cellulose tri-acetate film coated with xylene-activated resin on the lower surface. The flexible film, with optical clarity equal to glass, is automatically applied to the slide, eliminating the use of sticky mounting media and extended direct xylene contact. Selectable mounted film length and batch or single-slide operating capabilities. Coverslipper accessories include Coverslipping film (five rolls per case, 5000 slide), Coverslipper Film Cutter Blades (five blades per case), and Coverslipper Slide Baskets (ten baskets per case).
