The Packard TopCount NXT Model C991200 Microplate Scintillation and Luminescense Counter 12 Detector is a fully contained benchtop microplate scintillation and luminescence counter, specially designed and configured for direct scintillation and luminescence counting of samples contained in microplates and microsample tubes. This is capable of counting a variety of beta and gamma labeled samples using either liquid or solid scintillators. The time-resolved scintillation counting technique using single PMTs may also be optimized to provide either maximum counting efficiency or maximum sensitivity (maximized efficiency/background). Will read 24 and 96 well formats, 2 wells at a time in either format. Includes a refrigerated cart, manuals, software, stackers, keyboard and mouse.
