The soft starter allows the user to apply adjustable voltage to the motor, in order to reduce the current, and to gradually ramp up to full voltage and speed for a soft start, and conversely allows the user to gradually ramp down for a soft stop. Suitable for use on any application that requires a soft start. At full voltage it runs at 11kW with an armature current of 23A.
