15 MM BTU/Hour Thermal Oxidizer (Incinerator)
15,000,000 BTU/Hour Horizontal Cylindrical, Saddle-supported Callidius Technologies (Tulsa, OK) Primary Liquid Waste and Secondary Liquid Waste Incinerator / Thermal Oxidizer Unit (Designed to burn organic liquids and wastewater). Designed burner thermal duty of 15mm BTU/ hour from the combustion of PLW. SLW may also be feed with a maximum thermal duty of 3.5mm BTU/hour. Primary Liquid Waste Flow: 2,500 lbs/hr. Secondary Liquid Waste Flow: 3,000 lbs/hr. Operating temperature ranges from 1800 to 2200 °F and a nominal residence time of 1.5 seconds. 99.99% organic destruction efficiency 99.9999% dioxin and furan destruction efficiency. Combustion chamber consists of a carbon steel chamber that is lined with several inches of alumina firebrick and backed with castable refactory lining. Control system includes an automatic waste feed cutoff system that stops the flow of hazardous waste if an operating condition outside the normal limits is recorded. Combustion gas is treated in a wet air pollution control system consisting of a full quench, packed tower, hydro-Sonic tandem, Nozzle Super-Sub scrubber, entrainment separator and stack. Built 2003.
