Dryer 1.38 sq.ft. Virtis freeze dryer 3 trays, Stainless Steel Contact Parts
VirTis lab size freeze drying unit. The VirTis Consol 4.5 has slots for 3 trays (two are missing). The trays measure 10" x 20" with a 1" wall for total area of 1.38 sq ft. per tray. Serial # 200554. Unit is designed to reach -40° C and a vacuum of 25 milliTorr or lower. This unit has a .5 hp refrigeration system and uses R-13B1 refrigerant at a static pressure of 95 psi. Requires 115 vac 1 ph electrical supply. Manufactured in 1989. (Instruction manual on hand.)
