Bio:

Michael Mendelsohn, is a Senior Field Applications Scientist at Molecular Devices, where he provides scientific, technical and application support to customers and the Sales Team. Michael joined Molecular Devices four years ago, transitioning from graduate research directly into the field. He holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Virginia Tech and an M.S. in Nutritional Biochemistry from Columbia University’s, where he was honored with the Distinguished Master’s Thesis Lecture and Award. He continued his graduate studies at Columbia, researching the role of lipid rafts in the carcinogenic progression of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma. Michael brings a strong foundation in 3D cell biology and assay development to his role, helping scientists implement cutting-edge technologies in their research paradigms.
