How To Sell On LabXStep by Step Guide to Getting Your Products Listed.

Selling on LabX is quick and easy. This guide shows you how in a few minutes you can list your first item for sale on LabX.

Step 1. Registration

Before you sell anything on LabX, you must register an account. Registration is a snap. All that is required is your first and last name, an e-mail address, and a password.

Tip: Having trouble logging in or forgot your password? Help is only an e-mail away. Please contact us at help@labx.com for assistance.

Step 2. Become a Seller

Now that you’ve registered, there is one extra step required to start selling. Starting from My Account click “Sell On LabX” on the left hand menu. From here you can enter all of your seller details and complete a profile to create a professional store on LabX.

Tip: LabX has many unique selling programs. If you have more than ~10 items to sell, get in touch with us to hear about special offers, marketing plans, and promotions that will boost your selling success.
Do you have an eBay store? If so, LabX make it easy for you to sync your inventory and sell across both platforms. Contact us to get started.

Step 3. List Your First Product

From your dashboard, select “Run A Listing” to bring you to the ad upload page.

Here, you can enter in all of the details and pictures of the product your listing.

Tip: Make your listing as informative as possible to maximize the chances of securing a buyer. We strongly recommend multiple clear photos, an asking price, and product specifications.

Step 4. Add Your Listing(s) to Your Cart

Once your listing is complete, it will remain “On Hold” and in draft mode until it is paid for and can be published live on the LabX marketplace. From here you can loop back to create more ad listings, or select one or more listings to pay for at once. When you click “Proceed to Payment”, any "On Hold" listings that you have checked off will be added to your cart.

Step 5 . Proceed to Checkout

You will see that the listings you have selected will have been added to your cart. From here you can proceed to checkout to complete payment for your ad listings.

Tip: The same LabX shopping cart is used for purchasing products as well as running ad listings. Ensure that your cart is empty of other products before you add a listing to your cart otherwise the process can get a little confusing.

Step 6. Complete Payment

Select a payment method and ensure your billing details are accurate. Currently, we support payment via credit card or PayPal which will redirect you to PayPal for secure payment. Place your order and you’re good to go!

Tip: Did you know that you can pay with credit card through PayPal even if you don’t have a PayPal account? You don’t need a PayPal account to use PayPal’s services and they support most major credit cards.

Step 7. Relax, Repeat, or Re-List

At this point your listing is complete. All ad listings are reviewed by LabX staff prior to their release live on the marketplace. This may take up to 24 hours so sit back, relax, and wait for buyers to start contacting you. If someone is interested in your item for sale, you will receive an email with their contact information and message. Or, a phone call if you have made your contact number available to users.

Have more to list?

No problem, just repeat the above process and start filling your LabX store with multiple products for sale. If you have multiple listings you may want to consider a LabX Ad Plan. Simply put, Ad Plans allow you to have a maximum amount of product listings active on LabX for the duration of your Ad Plan.

Max Quantity of Ad Listings Live

The level of an Ad Plan dictates the maximum amount of ad listings that you can have active on LabX at any given time during your program dates.

Listings Expired When Your Ad Plan Expires

Your ad listings expire on the same date as your Ad Plan.

Swap Listings In and Out

If a seller has reached their max listing amount, they can make one of their ads inactive (-1) and then run an additional listing (+1). There is no limit on the number of times you start or rerun a listing. Your Ad Plan only caps the number of listings that can be live at any given time.

Fixed Seller Fees

The cost of Ad Plans vary based on the duration of your program and the number of ad listings.

Listing expired?

Ad listings on LabX are set to expire 90 days after their publication date. After this date your listing will be put back on hold for a 30 day grace period, allowing you to re-list your item. After this grace period has expired your listing will be permanently removed from the site. You can also re-list your item before it expires by extending the expiry date. This process simply adds an additional 90 days to your expiry date.
