Covidien is committed to contributing to the availability of affordable, quality healthcare in the markets in which we compete around the world. Additionally, we will fund local programs that provide care and treatment for specific diseases and address the needs of the communities in which we operate, including the prevention of childhood obesity.     This Mission is accomplished through the Covidien Partnership for Neighborhood Wellness, which provides financial resources, employee expertise and healthcare products to communities in need.
