Oil Free Vacuum Pump

The RC6 Chemistry-HYBRID vacuum pump combines rotary vane and diaphragm vacuum pump technology to support freeze-drying, molecular distillation, and other applications in the fine vacuum range with dramatically reduced service demands.       

The RC6 can achieve an ultimate vacuum of 2x10-3 mbar with a free air capacity of 4.1cfm, making it an excellent choice for most laboratory fine-vacuum applications, such as freeze-drying and molecular distillation.       

In the RC6, a chemistry-design diaphragm pump is used to back the rotary vane pump. This arrangement keeps the pump oil under vacuum, reducing oil changes by as much as 90% when compared with traditional rotary vane pumps. A vacuum gauge at the pump outlet provides visual confirmation. The RC6 can often reduce bi-weekly oil changes to semi-annual or even annual changes! Reduced service costs and pump downtime offer dramatic lifetime operating cost savings.       

The RC6 Chemistry-HYBRID vacuum pump has a restriction-free, high-flow inlet to ensure high flow rates under vacuum, and is equipped with an integrated oil-mist filter.
