The Cytospin 4 cytocentrifuge provides economical thin-layer preparations from any liquid matrix, especially hypocellular fluids such as spinal fluids and urines. It is capable of processing 12 specimens simultaneously, accepting protocols from Cytospin 1, 2, and 3. Its redesigned, one-handed lid-release mechanism ensures safety, operating only when securely locked. A polycarbonate window provides visibility of the sealed head during cytocentrifugation, and the system is safeguarded against accidental fluid spillage to prevent damage to mechanical and electronic components.
