AFAB Lab Resources ships small items via UPS, FedEx, or DHL, while larger equipment is shipped through insured freight carriers. White glove delivery services are available in most areas for sensitive instruments. All freight shipments are professionally packaged and crated to help ensure safe transit. Standard freight quotes assume dock or forklift access; additional fees may apply for liftgate, residential, inside delivery, or limited-access locations. Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery and report any visible or concealed damage within 24–48 hours. International orders are shipped EXW/FCA, with buyers responsible for duties, taxes, and customs clearance. Local pickup is available at our Frederick, MD warehouse by appointment. We also provide specialized lab relocation services throughout MD, VA, and PA. Most used and refurbished equipment requires a 5–7 business day lead time for testing and crating.

Certified or refurbished equipment may include a limited warranty and may be eligible for return if the unit does not meet the stated performance specifications. Items sold “As-Is” or “For Parts” are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. All returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery and require a signed Decontamination Certificate confirming the equipment is free from biological, chemical, and radiological hazards. A 25% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns. Returned equipment must include all original accessories and be shipped in proper professional packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping, crating, and insurance costs. AFAB Lab Resources reserves the right to deny returns or adjust refunds for equipment that has been damaged, altered, improperly packaged, or exposed to hazardous materials. Consumables with broken seals and custom-ordered items are non-returnable.
